Join us for a Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony on May 27, 2024 at 8:00 am, at the Wall of Freedom, located at the entrance of Johnny Henderson Family Park (1901 Neil Metcalf Rd, Enterprise, AL) for a special event to remember and honor our nation's heroes that lost their lives during service to protect our country, our families, and our freedom. 

The Enterprise Chamber of Commerce Military & Veterans Affairs Committee, in coordination with the City of Enterprise, local Veterans Service Organizations, and Community Service Organizations will commemorate Memorial Day with a wreath laying ceremony, proclamation, and special guests to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Following the ceremony, at approximately 10:00 am, the Veterans Service Organizations invite you to join them in placing 1500 plus flags at the gravesites of deceased Veterans at the Meadowlawn Memorial Park located at 6121 Highway 27, Enterprise, AL. Fishing Days

Enterprise Parks and Recreation offers Fishing Days throughout the year each month at our Johnny Henderson Family Park, 1901 Neil Metcalf Road, Enterprise.   Please refer to the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources guidelines for license,  rules and regulations.Click here to purchase an Alabama fishing license. 

Fishing is only allowed during daylight hours and in the large lake, no fishing in either of the smaller areas. 

We ask that you are considerate of all other wildlife in our parks while fishing. 

Fishing Schedule (No Fee) 

• Every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month is Senior Fishing Day (55 & older)

• Every 3rd Saturday of each month is Public Fishing Day
