The Coffee County Extension office will be hosting a program on “Getting Started With Chickens” led by Alabama Cooperative Extension small flock poultry Specialist Dr. Brigid McCrea.

The program will be held on Tuesday, April 30th from 6 PM until 8 PM at the Coffee County Extension office in New Brockton.

This program is for anyone who is thinking about wanting to raise backyard chickens, just started raising chickens, or current flock owners, just wanting to learn more. Anyone is welcome to attend.

The program is free to attend, and light refreshments will be served. Biosecurity will be in place.
